Þann 4.september síðastliðinn urðu Tröllaborgir 20 ára.
Til þess að gera okkur glaðan dag saman var góðum gestum boðið í heimsókn yfir daginn.
Í upphafi dags mætti Lovísa, fulltrú foreldrafélagsins, og færði leikskólanum gjöf í tilefni dagsins sem börnin munu njóta.
Í vinastund um morguninn mætti hér Ásthildur bæjarstjóri ásamt Krístínu sviðsstjóra og öðrum starfsmönnum á fræðslu og lýðheilsusviði einnig mættu tveir fulltrúar frá FÉSTA.
Kristín sviðsstjóri færði leikskólanum blóm og gjafabréf til bókakaupa í tilefni dagsins fyrir hönd fræðslu og líðheilsusviðs.
Börnin fengu pizzu og frostpinna í hádeginu og fengin var að láni sápukúluvél til að vera með í útiveru.
Opið hús var á milli 14:30 og 16:00 þar sem foreldrum og/eða öðrum tengiliðum bauðst að koma og gæða sér á afmælisköku með börnum sínum.

September 4th Tröllaborgir turned 20 years old.
During the day we invited good guests to celebrate with us.
At the beginning of the day, Lovísa, the representative of the parents' association, came and gave the kindergarten a gift for the children to enjoy.
In the morning, the mayor, Ástildur attended vinastund with Krístín, director of the Department of Education and public health, and other employees from the department of education and public health, and two representatives from FÉSTA also attended.
Kristín presented the kindergarten with flowers and a gift certificate for the purchase of books on behalf of the department of education and public health.
The children were given pizza and popsicle sticks for lunch, and a soap bubble machine was borrowed to have lots of bubbles outside.
An open house was held between 14:30 and 16:00 where parents and/or other contacts were invited to come and enjoy birthday cake with their children.
